By downloading, installing, or using PrintCast, you agree to be bound by the terms of this End User License Agreement ("Agreement"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not download, install, or use the software.
License Grant
Boundary Labs Inc. grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use PrintCast on devices you own or control, subject to the terms of this Agreement.
Independent Software; No Guarantee of Results
PrintCast is independent software developed by Boundary Labs Inc. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any printer manufacturer. Printer brand and model names are used solely to identify compatibility and are trademarks of their respective owners.
PrintCast Driver is a replacement for manufacturer (“vendor”) printer drivers that are no longer supported on current versions of macOS. It is built to keep aging printers working, not to reproduce the vendor's driver. Print quality, print speed, color reproduction, and feature coverage may differ from the original vendor driver, and some printer features may not be available. Compatibility with any particular printer model, and with future versions of macOS, is not guaranteed. The free trial exists so you can confirm PrintCast works with your printer and meets your needs before you buy.
Restrictions
You may NOT:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the software without explicit written authorization
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or labels. Third-party components included with the Software carry their own notices, which are preserved as required by their licenses — see Acknowledgments.
- Use the software to develop competing products or services
- Use the software or its documentation as training data for machine learning or AI systems
Free Trial
PrintCast offers a 7-day free trial. No payment information is required to start a trial. After the trial period, a one-time license purchase is required to continue using the software.
Payment and Refunds
Payment is processed securely through Stripe. If you experience technical issues that prevent the software from functioning on your system, contact support within 30 days of purchase for a refund; refunds are provided at our discretion. A refunded purchase deactivates the associated license. We recommend using the free trial to confirm PrintCast works with your printer before buying.
Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, and you may have statutory rights that this section does not affect.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BOUNDARY LABS INC. BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE. THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WASTED PAPER, INK, OR TONER, MISPRINTS OR PRINT-QUALITY DEFECTS, AND ANY DAMAGE TO OR MALFUNCTION OF YOUR PRINTER OR ITS SUPPLIES. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF BOUNDARY LABS INC. ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SOFTWARE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE LICENSE.
Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Termination
This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the software and destroy all copies.
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
